喜羊羊与灰太狼：狼来了Part I

Here it is, after making an analysis of the show in both Chinese and English this is my first full transcription and translation of the show. Honestly and frankly, this is pretty easy stuff but I think it's important to the blog as evidence for my claims; as well, if you watch the show without studying it some things will pop up that you'll completely miss, not 成语 but word phrases like 掉以轻心and 岂有此里. The show goes by really fast.

All the same, after busting my brain on such hard Chinese as the "Alianya" post and the "Go make money" post, it's nice to do something a little easier. I'll come back and do a few more 喜羊羊episodes just for the kick of it. Enjoy. This is the Chinese one, and the English translation will come afterwards.

Narrator:

绵羊族群的祖先第一代领头羊 族群 zu2qun2 – ethnic group, community；祖先 zu3xian1 – ancestors, forebears 领头 ling3tou2 – to be the first to start, to take the lead

软绵绵村长为了逃避狼群追杀 软绵绵 ruan3mian4mian4 – soft, sentimental feeble；为了wei4le – in order to, for the purpose of, so as to；追杀 zhui1sha1 – to run after to kill

来到了青青草原

当狼群从森林追到青青草原的时候

软绵绵村长已经下令在桥上建了一道高高的铁闸 下令 xia4ling4 – to give an order；闸 zha2 – gear, brake, sluice

狼群的首领武大狼和一群饿狼 首领 shou3ling3 – leader, boss, chief

用尽方法,又跳又爬又敲又打

都没有办法通过铁闸

只能眼睁睁的看着铁闸后面

唱歌跳舞的一群肥羊直流口水

不知什么时候

狼群里有个声音出了个馊主意 馊主意 sou1zhu3yi4 – rotten idea (bad)

Bad Idea Wolf:

我们减肥,只要我们瘦下来

就可以从铁闸的铁枝中间穿过去

到时候就可以吃到肥羊了

Narrator:

武大狼也可能饿昏了 昏 hun1 – to lose consciousness, to faint

居然听信了这个主意,拼命的减肥 听信 ting1xin1 to believe what one hears (sth correct or one-sided )

减啊减…

直到有一天…

瘦得皮包骨的武大狼果然成功了 果然 guo3ran2 – really, sure enough, as expected

当他成功穿越铁栏后 穿越 chuan1yue4 – to pass through, to cross, to overcome；

铁栏 tie3lan2 – steel fence

他居然看到… 居然 ju1ran2 – unexpectedly

(a rock disguised as a sheep)

吞下石羊的武大狼口吐白沫,死了 沫 mo4 - foam

当日正是月圆之夜

从此,狼群的世界里就流传着这样一个饿狼传说: 从此 cong2ci3 – after that, from now on, since then, henceforth；流传 liu2chuan2 – to spread, to circulate；传说 chuan2shuo1 – legend, folklore

世界上最肥的羊在青青草原

可是任何一只狼都不要打他们的主意

否则一定会交上恶运 否则 fou3ze2 – if not, otherwise, else, or else；恶运 e4yun4 – bad luck

每当月圆,饿狼为了纪念武大狼

都会向天空发出哀呜 哀 ai1 – sorrow, grief, pity, to lament；呜 wu1 – a cry, whimper

直到今天

青青草原的领头羊

已经换成了慢羊羊村长

这时候

武大狼的第250代孙子灰太狼

因为本领低微无法在狼群里立足 本领 ben3ling3 – skill, ability, capability；低微 di1wei1 – low(of a voice or sound); lowly, humble；立足 li4zu2 – foothold

想起了饿狼传说

当他带着自己的妻子红太狼

来到青青草原对岸的森林

看见草原上吃不尽的肥羊

才知道传说是真的

就这样,一场饿狼和绵羊的战争

又将再次出现在我们的眼前

灰太狼：

您放心好了,就这么一个地方

肥羊跑不到哪儿去的

红太狼：
